Installation Pictures

Electra-Lock electric fence can be installed with any manufacturer's fence chargers, insulators, strainers or accessories. It may be installed on wood, fiberglass or steel T-posts. You may click on the pictures for enlarged views.


10" eye bolts with 1 1/4" fiberglass post mounted to pull or gate post (recommended application).
Insulator used on pull or corner post (optional installation).
Fiberglass line post application.

Use galvanized CP100 cotter pins to attach wire to fiberglass posts.
Nail insulators on brace post.
Run eyebolts all the way flush with corner posts. Fiberglass rods are stronger than steel!

SR36 corner rod replaces the need for insulators and gives you a stronger application.
Closeup of wheel strainer used to tension wire. If wire is wrapped around SR36 corner rod, don't forget to add jumper wire to insure a good connection.

EL5 wheel strainer.
Wheel strainers install faster and easier than conventional ratchet-type tensioners because there is no need to cut the wire.
ELD100 wire dispenser.

Steel t-posts should be spaced 25' apart to allow wire to spring back.
1" fiberglass posts can be spaced up to 50' apart with Electra-Lock fencing.
Weaning pastures.

We recommend warning signs for people who just have to touch it!

4" diameter wood posts may be spaced 40' apart with Electra-Lock fence.

It makes a nice, clean looking perimeter fence on road frontage.

Used a ratchet strainer to connect 2 rolls together.
